We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping (or should). Everything we do during the day will affect how we sleep, and every moment during sleep affects how we will feel the next day. Are you spending these hours in the most efficient and healthy way possible?

This app is designed to help you help yourself. We can’t make you have perfect sleep hygiene, but maybe we can help nudge you in that direction. There are 3 sections to complete.

The first includes about 40 questions (they don’t take much time) relating to your daily and nightly habits. If you want to know more about why any of these affect your quality of sleep, click the “more info” link that accompanies each question. Should you want more detailed information, including recent research, you will be given that option as well.

The second is an indicator for how sleepy you are in various conditions. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) has been used in the field of sleep medicine for many years, and is an accepted instrument for discovering how sleepy you are in relation to others.

Finally, we simply ask you how you feel your sleep is in relation to how good you think it could or should be.

You can save your scores to allow comparisons over time. This allows you to continually work to improve your sleep hygiene. If you work on improving your score and come back regularly to see how you have improved (and see how you compare to others), we feel you will improve your health through better sleep.
